About Cyprus

Welcome to the island of Aphrodite, the mythological goddess of beauty, who was born in the foam of Cyprus' warm seas, and spawned a huge cult in pagan times.

Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean (after Sicily and Sardinia) with an area of 9.251 sq. kilometers of which 1,733 are forested. It is situated at the north-eastern end of the East Mediterranean and surrounded by Europe, Asia and Africa.

Cyprus  is an island of great beauty and endless variety. Golden beaches and rugged coastline are contrasted by the impressive backdrop of unusual mountain ranges. Greek temples, Roman remains, Byzantine churches and Crusander castles inspire fascinating excursions.

The people of Cyprus are warm, friendly and naturally hospitable, and it is genuine pleasure for them to welcome visitors perhaps because they have been doing this for thousands years, so... BE AT HOME!
